HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

This week was great! I feel like I have so much to say, so sorry that this email will be all over the place haha. We've really been trying to find more people to teach. When the Lord sees that we're willing to try new things, He blesses us. So we've been thinking of new finding activities. Here are some of the dumb ones we made up while trying to think of real ones haha.

-Carry around a cute puppy to get people's attention
-Make up a rap song for the first vision and rap on the streets haha
-Purposefully get hurt so we can go to the hospital and convert everyone there ;)
-Become good friends with the workers at a Bakery so we can lock everyone in and make them listen to us haha.
-Stand up on a bench and cry repentance on Main Street.
-Pretend to trip and scatter pictures of Jesus everywhere. When people help you pick them up, PREACH!
-Reverse Trick or Treating (give them candy and a pass-along card)

Of course our REAL finding activities were better, but we thought those were funny :) We also had a fast to find people, so hopefully that will help. The Hopkins family is doing great, and Viktoria and Ian are great we well. They're loving the gospel and progressing!! My talk about prophets in church went pretty good. 3 of our investigators were there, so I hope it somehow helped them understand prophets more.

This week we've also had some funny experiences. Two teenage guys stopped us on the street and asked, "So are you married to Jesus or what? Cause we should all do something tonight!" HILARIOUS. Oh the simple joys of missionary work!

We have to be inside by 6:00pm on Halloween, so that'll be different. Hopefully we can study and get some things done inside. There's a town parade that's going to go right past our window, so that'll be fun to watch. Here are some quotes from this week :

Things are slowly getting better, but we're still working hard to get things going. We know blessing and miracles will come if we stay faithful. Thanks for your prayers and support :) There's this quote I really love. It says,

"Unless you belong to a church that requires sacrifice of all that you possess, everything that you have and are, even perhaps the cost of your life... unless you belong to such a church as that, that church could never build within you the faith you need to obtain eternal life."

I know Heavenly Father requires at times ALL that we have, because he wants to give us ALL that HE  has. This means everything to me. I hope it does to you too. Love you all!
