Transfers

I completely forgot to tell everyone about transfers because nothing huge happened haha. Sister Langford and I are staying in Cooperstown for another 6 weeks! So I'm glad that I can get more familiar with the area before she takes off! I wonder if we'll be together for 3 transfers or if she'll be leaving after these 6 weeks. I guess we'll find out!

We've found more potential investigators and have had some cool experiences. Its always great when people let you in when you knock on their door :) The other day we were tracting and we knocked on this lady's door. We told her who we were and stared testifying. She then said, "That's nice :) ....... NOW GO AWAY!!!!!!!" and SLAMMED the door HARD. It was so hilarious. It's sad how people can't even have common courtesy in this world anymore... it's almost funny when people reject us so harshly. Its like... really? Haha :) We find joy in the work!

We've started doing service at an elderly hospital called the Manor. We go from room to room asking people if they want to come to something called "The Prayer Meeting." In the prayer meeting there's someone who gives something similar to a talk and then reads from the Bible. Then everyone writes down something they want to pray for, and the person giving the speech/talk prays for all of those things. It's kind of different than how we do things, but it's still cool to see people believing in God. I wrote down to pray for my family... especially my twin sister :) So that's been fun to go to every week!

I know that I sent Trace and Michelle's family some I <3 NY t-shirts, but the rest of the family please don't fret! ;) I WILL send all of you them one day, I just need to space it out so that I have enough money each month. So sometime on my mission each family will get those t-shirts haha. Surprisingly those t-shirts aren't very common... even though I'm in NY.... haha.

Anyway, the work is slower, but it's getting better. I know the Lord has people who are prepared and I hope we can find them soon. Thanks for the support from everyone! I love you all and hope you have a marvelous week :)

Love, Sister Hansen <3
