Cooperstown

It's crazy that I hit my 6 month mark a few days ago! It has gone by slow, but fast at the same time. I'm excited for what the last year of my mission will be like :)

So I made it to Coops-town! ;) My first couple days have been... interesting haha. It's been kind of an adjustment. It's just really weird going from knowing an area SO well, to knowing NOTHING. I feel lost and like I'm not connecting with the spirit very well, because I don't know anyone or where we're even going. I know that's normal and it will take time... but it's been stressing me out haha. I made myself sick (with a head cold) because of the stress. It's funny how it feels like I'm entering the mission field for the first time all over again!

Sister Langford is my new companion! She's from Alpine, Ut. She's been a good companion so far, and I hope she can be patient with me as I adjust. We've been doing a lot more tracting because they barely opened the area... so that's definitely getting me out of my comfort zone. In Bennington we had a lot of people to teach, so we didn't have to worry as much about tracting or finding investigators... but now we're needing investigators here in Cooperstown. The apartment is really cute though, so that's fun :) My bed is really comfortable and I've been able to sleep a lot better. The area looks familiar to Bennington, but the houses are a lot nicer. I feels good being a place where there are more families :) I know I'm here for a reason and I know that things will get easier... it will just take time. I miss Bennington a lot, but I can't let Satan get me down by thinking about my past area or comparing the two areas. Soon this will be my new home! I'm grateful for the opportunities that we have to learn and grow, even if they're difficult at times. The Lord knows who we need to become, and what we need to go through to become that person. I love His work and I'm grateful to be sharing it!

Hope you all have a fantastic week and are doing well :) I'll be rpaying for you... as always!

P.S.....I would like it if everyone could start send ALL my mail to the mission office address... because it gets stressful trying to tell everyone my new address and then hoping that no letters go there after I've left. Hopefully that's okay! Here's my mission office address once again:
