Like last week, this week has been a little bit slower. People keep canceling or not showing up again. That's why we've been having to do a lot of tracting and making good backup plans. 3 of our investigators are ready for baptism, so this week we're hopefully going to set dates for them to be baptized!! :) We know they're ready... they just need to somehow get work off on Sundays or find a different job because most people work on Sundays here. They know the gospel is true... but getting them to commit to Sundays is sometimes difficult! Here are some funny things that happened this week:
I microwaved some Nutella to put with strawberries... DON'T EVER DO IT! There was lightning in the microwave haha. Later I looked on the Nutella container and it says, "Do not refrigerate or microwave." I learned my lesson! :)
I had a dream that I tried to sneak into the Priesthood Session of General Conference haha. I dreamed that I dressed up like a guy and watched about 5 minutes and then they kicked me out. When I woke up I just started laughing! Apparently I'm excited to hear the talks from that session! Plus, Sister Blackburn had a dream that I was carrying a bag of spinach in with me to a movie theater hahaha! I guess that's what comes from me trying to eat healthy!
Quotes for the week:
"Even if people think we're creeps, at least we won't be the strangest people they've seen in this town!" -Sister Hansen
"LOOK! The lady across the street is preparing for a flood!" -Sister Blackburn
"Move your feet! Your scrummy toes are falling off!" -Brother Behunin
"I feel like a ravenous animal that wants to eat EVERYTHING... especially chocolate." -Sister Hansen
"I think I should go give this to a homeless person... or something...." -Sister Hansen
This week has been slow, but still a good one! There are a lot of ups and down in missionary work, but you learn to love all of them. I'm grateful for my friends and family who have been writing me. This gospel is true, and I'm trying my best to help people come to know their Savior. I love you all!
Love, Sister Hansen
